Valkyria Chronicles

I got the chance to play VC and finsh it within two days. It was a splendid strategy game. The story isn't suprising, but okay. There are some lovely character cast and synopse of every city, person, weapon and more stuff with much love for detail.
I required 16 hours for this fanart. At least I'm satisfied with the colour composition. Hope you like it.
Does someone know the anime? How is the story telling compared to the game?
